Trust

Security at Ayuna

We build security into the platform so Habitat for Humanity affiliates can trust Ayuna with volunteer, donor, homeowner, and operational data.

Access controls

Ayuna uses role-based access controls so affiliate staff only see the data they need. Administrators can manage permissions, invite users, and remove access instantly.

Encryption in transit

All data sent between your browser and Ayuna is protected with TLS encryption. API communications and dashboard sessions use modern, widely adopted protocols.

Encrypted storage

Sensitive data stored in Ayuna is encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption methods managed by our cloud infrastructure providers.

Authentication

We support secure password authentication and session management. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

Monitoring and logging

We maintain audit logs and monitor platform activity to detect unusual behavior, support incident response, and improve security over time.

Backups and availability

Platform data is backed up regularly with redundancy designed to support recovery and maintain service availability for affiliates.

Vendor management

We use reputable cloud and service providers with strong security track records. Access is limited to what is necessary to operate and support the platform.

Employee access

Ayuna employees access customer data only when necessary for support, and only with appropriate authorization and logging.
